Welcome to the Warehouse App
This app helps you keep track of your inventory items, their quantities, and expiration dates.
π¦ App Structure and Terminology
Before you get started, hereβs how the Warehouse App organizes your inventory:
- Warehouses: Physical or virtual storage locations where products are stored (e.g. kitchen cupboard, fridge, storage room).
- Products: Templates or categories for real-world items you manage. For example, "Milk", "Apple Juice", or cheese from a specific brand can be products. They describe what kind of item you're storing, without representing a specific unit.
- Items: Actual instances of a product that are stored in a warehouse. An item has a quantity, an expiration date, and belongs to a specific warehouse.
This structure makes it easy to track where your products are stored, how many you have, and when they might expire.
